Welcome to - Children's Ministry @ River of Life Centre

Our children are today's ministers and tomorrow's leaders.  The investment we make in them today is an investment in the Kingdom of God.
Please pray with us, that the children would come to know the Father's love, Christ in them - the living Word, the infilling of the Holy Spirit, and His gifts and fruit in their lives.

In River Kids your child will have an opportunity to make friends, have fun and most importantly, develop a relationship with Jesus.
Our awesome team of leaders and helpers have a passion to see our children grow into their destinies in Christ and to experience all that God has for them, both now and in their future lives.

River Kids is divided into two groups:

• New Entrants to Year 8
• Under fives (the 'Little River Kids').

Together

River Kids will begin in the main church service, where children will share in praising God with the rest of our church community.  After the notices and offering, we will move to the community rooms (past the kitchen on the left), where we will gather altogether for morning tea and a time of sharing about our week.

River Kids (5 – 13 years)

School aged children will move through to the 'hall' after morning tea.  They will learn about Jesus through bible stories, video clips and relevant activities.  They will also have opportunities to practise worshipping our awesome God, to minister to one another in prayer, and to have time to simply enjoy being kids.

Little River Kids (under 5s)

The pre-school children learn about Jesus through stories, music and interactive, hands-on activities suited to the younger child, and have plenty of time for 'free' play.
As children in this age-group need more adult support than their older peers, we will occasionally ask parents to assist so that they can get the most out of the activities being provided.

Quiet Room

This room provides a quiet environment for mother and baby with a view into the auditorium, and speakers so the service can be heard.  It is not intended as a play room for older children before they go out to River Kids, as they can disturb mothers and babies who wish to use the room.
